When your business receives feedback, you can now apply custom tags to each customer. These tags will give you the ability to create unique widget codes to place a group of custom testimonials on the web page most relevant to their review. For example, if you provided air conditioning & heating services in Brooklyn, NY, and Queens, NY, you can create tags for each type of service, like “air conditioning” or “heating”, or area serviced, like “Brooklyn” or “Queens”. You can then create custom Review Widgets for each tag, so that only reviews falling under the tag you select are displayed. Utilizing the tagging feature allows you to pair relevant customer comments with a specific service, product or areas served, to enhance your web pages.

Why is tagging helpful?

The widget includes rich snippet review notation, so those pages will have an opportunity to show in Google search with review stars. Review stars in the search results increase searcher click-through rates, even on pages that are lower in search results. Google has reported that including your review stars can lead anywhere from a 10% - 20% increase in click-through rates.

But the value of page specific testimonials goes beyond just enhancing your search results. By putting actual customer feedback on the web page relevant to a searcher’s interest, you can increase conversions of your website visitors.

There are three steps to the process. First, you'll need to add tags to the customer feedback. Then, you'll need to generate your custom Tag Review Widget. Finally, you'll need to place your Tag Review Widget on the page you want it to appear on. To get started:

1. You can add tags directly upon uploading a bulk customer spreadsheet, or directly in the customer profile.

2. Click Publish > Review Widget. Located at the bottom of the page is the Tag Review Widget set up. Click Add Widget.
