There is no specific amount of listings to guarantee an improved local search presence. But since we specifically target great quality listing sources, we find that there is no need to order more than 60 - 70 listings per location.

A standard order for businesses within US, Canada, UK or Australia is 25 - 35 general listings and 5 - 10 region/industry listings.

Region/industry listings are not available in every country, if this is the case you can still adhere to the general listings guidelines.
