GBP Management is a subscription-based product that enables users to manage their Google Business Profiles from the Whitespark Local Platform.

Provided you have an active GBP Management subscription and an available slot, you can enable GBP Management for a location in just 2 easy steps.

Step 1: Import locations

If you've already imported your location from Google, you can jump to the next step.

If you haven’t imported any locations yet, your home screen will prompt you to do so (to add more locations in the future click Add location(s) in the top right of the locations screen).

If you don't have a Google account connected to your Whitespark account, click the Connect a Google account button and follow the steps. Once the applicable Google account has been connected, you can select it to see a list of locations available for import.

Select the location(s) you wish to import and click the Import button to complete this step.

Step 2: Turn on GBP Management

GBP Management must be enabled for locations one at a time. Complete the steps below for each location you wish to enable GBP Management for.

From the locations screen, find the location you wish to enable GBP Management for.

To the right of the location name and address, you'll see an "OFF" label (see above), denoting that GBP Management is currently turned OFF for the location. Click the OFF label to turn on GBP Management. You'll be presented with a confirmation dialog (see below).

And that's it! These locations now have GBP Management turned on!

A few quicks notes:

  • From now on, any changes you make to these location will be pushed to their associated Google Business Profile.

  • If any of these locations have pending Google updates, you'll see them on the GBP updates screen. Otherwise, we'll continuously monitor your GBPs for new updates and notify you when they are discovered.
