There are several handy ways to share reports with your clients or colleagues, all of which are displayed without Whitespark or Local Ranking Grids branding.
Heads up: if you share a grid on social media and mention Whitespark, let us know and we’ll add 150 credits to your account 🤑
Screenshots
You can generate a snazzy, sharing-optimized “screenshot” of any grid from the “share” button in the top right corner of the grid screen. Choose whether or not to include the summary metrics (Visibility Score, average ranking, and Review Score) on your image, and then copy it to your clipboard or download a .png file. Easy peasy!
Share URLs
You can enable a sharing URL for any individual grid, or for an entire business/location. Viewing these URLs provides clients and colleagues direct access to see live ranking results and summary metrics for all scan dates of a given grid.
Sharing individual grids
You can enable a sharing URL for any grid using the “share” button in the top right corner of the grid screen.
In the sharing dialog, you will see the status of the grid’s share URL as “Disabled” or “Enabled”. You can also see the sharing status on the business screen in the dashboard.
To enable a grid’s sharing URL, click “Configure” and then “Enable”. You can then copy the URL and share it with the world.
To disable a grid’s sharing URL, follow the same steps, and click “Disable”.
Note: sharing URLs are deleted upon being disabled. You cannot recover the same share URL afterwards – but you can always re-enable sharing and get a new one!
Sharing an entire business/location
You can enable a sharing URL for a whole business from the “share” button in the top right corner.
In the sharing dialog, you will see the status of the business’s share URL as “Disabled” or “Enabled”.
Note: enabling sharing for a business will automatically enable sharing for all of that business’s grids. Viewers of one grid will be able to access all other enabled grids from the keyword selector or the business overview screen. If there are any grids you don’t want visible, you can disable sharing from its grid screen. Archived grids are never visible via share URLs.
To enable a business’s sharing URL, click “Configure” and then “Enable”. You can then copy the URL and share it far and wide.
To disable a business’s sharing URL, follow the same steps, and click “Disable”.
Note: as with individual grids, sharing URLs are deleted once disabled. You cannot recover the same share URL afterwards – but you can always re-enable sharing and get a new one!
